I love this list of free apps for both parents and teachers found over at Smart Apps for Kids. They have a wonderful site with a strong fellowship and amazing posts. I also follow their Facebook page as they often highlight free, new, popular and apps on sale.

ClassDojo For Teachers
A classroom management app for teachers.
