Super Powers Craftivity - Learning Goals

Image Super Powers Craftivity - Learning Goals

I have always made goals with my students and love the empowerment it gives them as learners.
I wanted to make a resource that will help children identify their strengths and challenges (I refer to them as challenges rather than weaknesses).

I use my assessments to inform my program for individuals. I also like to conduct one-on-one interviews and ask students what they are good at and what they need help with (strengths and challenges). In the majority of cases there is a direct correlation between by students' responses and my assessments. however I do get the odd funny response like " I need help reaching the door handle!"

At the end of the interview, we turn their strength into their super power and their challenge into their next super power with them, it's that easy.

I'v included a booklet cover to bundle your goal writing activities, including the craft templates.

To make it fun and even more empowering (pardon the pun), I have made this craftivity for children to make and paste their super power (strength) and their next super power (their challenge)on the back.

Here's how to make your Craftivity

The craftivity can also double as a puppet as children can place their hand inside the paper bag, that is their cape!

Children will have opportunities to make formative and summative evaluations their goals (super powers) .
