I Don't have Time to Search for Classroom Games Online, here is my go to Site

I have to say that technology in the classroom and for children in general, is something that I am always aiming to be better at. I have learned a great deal in the past three years but know that this is a challenging area for me. If you have any tips, ideas or links that you think may be helpful, please comment below.

I have a wonderful site that I use that may help you in planning to integrate technology into your classroom.

My number one recommendation is the Get Smart Page from Copacabana Public School. Here you will find a platform that links to hundreds of interactive games and activities for Kindergarten through to grade 6. The program is one page within the school's website, that links to other interactive pages, so it is like a catalogue of interactive resources.

Let me help you by translating the grade levels: KS1 is Kindergarten, grade one and two, S2 is third and fourth grade and S3 is fifth and six grade. You will see they are further categorized into key learning areas such as English, Mathematics, Science and HSIE (Human Society and It's Environment).

Here is what you see when you click on Kindergarten, number!

Here are some direct links to a few games that I think might be useful for you.

Spin and Spell Grade 3-4

Spelling Bees Grade 3-4

  1. Looks great Emma! I use Symbaloo on my school computer so it is easy for the kiddos to navigate to the pages I want them to go to.

  4. What a wonderful resource. As a home-ed mom, I'm always on the lookout for new tools to use with my kids, and it's true, there's so much out there to wade through it's hard to find the time. I'm always pleased to find something that someone else has checked out and can recommend. Thank you!
